Security and peace of mind. At Town & Country Resources we know that the safety of one’s family is top priority -- so we take security very seriously. Each candidate completes a rigorous screening and application process with our trained Placement Counselors. We have extensive conversations with each reference to confirm candidates’ experience and qualifications. Additionally, we request each candidate provide a current driving record, proof of their eligibility to work in the United States, an CPR certification, and TB test results. Your guests can take comfort in knowing we have placed many of our Nannies numerous times over several years and are familiar with their track record and personal style.
How to make a childcare reservation:
To ensure Nanny availability, please encourage hotel guests to make reservations 48 hours in advance. However, please know that we are often able to fill last minute requests. Our trained Placement Counselors are available Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
1. Collect the following information from the hotel guest:
– Name and mailing address
– Date and time of desired reservation (start and end time; there is a four hour minimum per reservation)
– Name and age of each child
– MasterCard or Visa number (including name on card and expiration date)
2. Call one of our trained Placement Counselors to make a reservation at 800.457.8222, or email us at nanny@tandcr.com, or you may download and complete our Reservation Form and Referral Agreement, ask the guest to complete them, and return to Town & Country Resources via fax at 650.326.1556. Please be sure to include your name and contact information in the space provided on the Reservation Form.
3. Town & Country Resources will confirm the reservation via fax and telephone to the concierge desk. Please provide a copy of the faxed confirmation letter to the hotel guest.
What do Town & Country Nannies charge?
The Nannies typically charge $16/hour, however this rate can vary based on availability. In addition, the Referral Fee due to the Agency at the time of booking is equal to 50% of the Total Gross Compensation of the Nanny and is payable by MasterCard or Visa. The minimum Nanny assignment is four hours.
What if I reserve a Nanny and the guest later changes their plans?
If the guest changes or cancels a reservation after it has been confirmed, but BEFORE 48 hours of the start time, there is a $25 fee. If the guest changes or cancels a reservation after it has been confirmed, but WITHIN 48 hours of the start time, the full fee is due.
Does Town & Country Resources have liability insurance?
To protect our hotel partners in the unlikely event of injury or property damage caused by one of our Nannies, we carry liability insurance with a $1 million policy limit and can extend coverage to you at no additional cost.
