Responsibilities

A Domestic Couple is made up of two individuals, often married, who work together as a team providing domestic and personal service for a household. The responsibilities of the Domestic Couple are based on the employer’s property and service needs. It is often useful to align the responsibilities of the couple with traditional job descriptions. Typically, Domestic Couples function in the following positions: Property Manager, Caretaker, Housekeeper, Household or Estate Manager, Cook, Chef and Personal Assistant. Depending on their skills, the actual responsibilities performed by the two individuals can be combined in any way that meets the needs of the employer. Domestic Couple positions are almost always Live-in positions.
